Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum order?
No - there is no minimum quantity. Whether you need a single personalised garment or branded clothing for a whole team, we're happy to help. For larger orders, pricing may reduce depending on the garment, decoration method and quantity required.
Do I need to supply my own garments?
No. Tiny Stitch can source garments for you from a wide range of trusted suppliers. We'll recommend options based on how they'll be used, the look and quality you want to achieve, your budget and the decoration method being used.
Can you help me choose the right clothing?
Absolutely. You don't need to know exactly what garment, brand or style you need before getting in touch. Tell us a little about your business or project, how the clothing will be used and what's important to you, and we'll recommend suitable options.
Should I choose embroidery or print?
That depends on your design, garment and the finish you want to achieve. Embroidery creates a premium, durable stitched finish, while print can be better suited to larger, highly detailed or full-colour designs. We'll recommend the method that will give your particular design the best result - you don't need to decide before enquiring.
What artwork do I need to provide?
Send us the best-quality version of your logo or artwork that you have. Vector files such as AI, EPS, SVG or print-ready PDF are ideal for some applications, but don't worry if you don't have these - send us what you have and we'll advise on what's needed. You can attach files to your enquiry, or send them any time at tinystitchuk.com/upload. For embroidery, your design will need to be professionally digitised into a stitch file, and a one-off digitising fee may apply to new designs.
What is embroidery digitising?
Before a logo can be embroidered, the artwork needs to be converted into a specialist stitch file that tells the embroidery machine exactly how to recreate the design - including stitch types, directions, density and sequence. This is called digitising and is an important part of achieving a clean, professional embroidery finish.
A one-off digitising fee applies to new designs. Once your design has been digitised, we keep the file on record for future orders, so provided no changes are required to the design, you won't need to pay the digitising fee again.
How long will my order take?
Lead times vary depending on the garments, quantities, decoration required and current production schedule. We'll always give you an estimated lead time before your order goes into production. If you have a particular event or deadline, please let us know when you enquire so we can advise on availability.
Do you deliver outside Cheshire?
Yes. Tiny Stitch is based in Cheshire, but we work with customers further afield too. Completed orders can be dispatched directly to you, with delivery costs confirmed as part of your quotation.
Can you decorate garments I supply myself?
Yes, in many cases we can decorate customer-supplied garments. However, we'll need to check the garment first to make sure it's suitable for the embroidery or printing method required. Some fabrics, coatings and garment constructions aren't suitable for every process, so please speak to us before purchasing or supplying clothing specifically for decoration.
